Kelly-Anne Norman has been captivated by the world of books for as long as she can remember. From the time she was a little girl, she would often find herself lost between the pages of fantasy novels, whisking away to magical places and captivating adventures. These days, as a librarian, she feels extremely passionate about promoting a life-long love of reading to children of all ages and believes that books have the power to change lives. Maia Batumashvili was born in Tiblisi, Georgia in 1978. Since a young age, Maia has loved to draw and is inspired by the children’s books and cartoons she grew up with. After graduating from two art institutes, Maia worked on an animation project before finally realising her dream of illustrating children’s books. When Maia is not creating imaginative worlds, she enjoys spending time with her three beautiful children and her dog, Tayo.
